Sachiko "Sasha" Catholine Chelf was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend. She passed away on June 25, 2021 with her children by her side.
She was born to Hanichiro and Akiko Tashiro on October 10, 1934, in Kobe Japan. In 1960 she came to the United States, where she would call home for the next 60 years.
Sachiko is survived by two sons Paul, Michael (Bobbie), a daughter Amy (Thomas), five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by her father, mother, 3 brothers and son Christopher Leo Chelf. Sachiko loved spending time with her family, as well as rooting for the Denver Broncos, the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, and Tiger Woods.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on July 10, 2021 at Mountain View Funeral: 2350 Montebello Square Drive Colorado Springs, CO. A reception will follow immediately after the service at 1750 Applewood Ridge Court, Colorado Springs, CO, 80918
