Sally Widerstrom Obituary
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Sally was born in Colorado Springs on May 24, 1946 to Benny and Bernice (Tafoya) Jaramillo. She grew up in Fountain and attended all twelve years in Fountain schools.
Sally married the love of her life, Frank Widerstrom, on April 30, 1966 in Colorado Springs.
Sally and Frank loved to travel in their motorhome (weRgone) and they also liked spending time on their boat at Pueblo Reservoir. Sally loved fishing, she was an excellent fisherwoman. She also enjoyed their jaunts to Black Hawk.
Sally is survived by her husband Frank, her daughter Trudi Kelsen, her son-in-law Jeff, and her grandsons Zachery and Matthew Kelsen, who will miss her very much. She is also survived by her sister, Rita Klopenstine and two brothers, Gil Jaramillo and Don Jaramillo, and also by some very special nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Cathy Marsh.
Visitation will be at St Dominic's Catholic Church, 5354 S. Hwy 85-87, on December 10, 2013, noon to one o'clock, followed by Rosary and Mass. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Fountain.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice, 2550 Tenderfoot Hills Rd, CS 80906.
Sally loved life and always found the good in everyone.

I remember as young children, we would visit with your family in Fountain. Sally and Rita were older than we were and we played with Cathy. As evening settled in we would go into the bedroom where Sally and Rita would be getting ready to go out. We loved to watch as music played and you girls would get ready.
As you got older, we kind of lost touch but never lost the love of family. Our mothers were sisters and for that, we stayed close. The family bond was always there. Thank you for hosting the Tafoya Family Reunion where we were able to see a lot of our relatives and it was great.
To the family, you have our deepest sympathy and prayers. Always know that we love you all.
