I worked with Sam for a few short years at East Middle School. He was an inspiration in how he worked with all children and supported the teaching staff. I always knew I could count on Sam's help to work with, reach out to a troubled child. My condolences to his family and thanks for sharing him with so many to improve the lives of children.

A good friend for 63 years. One of the first persons I met when I arrived in Co. Springs. He will be missed with sadness and admiration. I had always played baseball but he talked to me about playing softball. He said he would give me a few pointers since I played with him and against him many times. Best wishes for his family. I'm a Lowell/South kid from the 70's.
I consider Mr. Dunlap a HERO, as he was a champion for all children.
May his family find comfort and peace in knowing that he will live on in all the lives he touched.
Blessings.
