Samuel Heizer Obituary
Sam was born July 20, 1947 in Boulder, CO to John and Mildred Heizer. He graduated from Wasson High School in 1965 as a Boy Scout (Troop 63) and member of the Chess Club.
Sam is survived by his sons, Jeff of Colorado Springs; Tim Heizer of Lee's Summit, MO; and Ken Heizer of Olathe, KS; his brother, John of Spring Hill, KS; his half-brothers, Bill Chappell of Seattle and Bruce Chappell of Denver; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Sam is also survived by two step-children, July and Clay of San Francisco.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 15 at Mesa Hills Bible Church, 615 W Uintah St in Colorado Springs.

You were so helpful to my sister and I when we had to come to assignments in Colorado Springs. You always had a smile and a great laugh. You're a great guy and and I know our dear Lord thinks so too.

When Sammie called me and I knew it was not my Birthday (he always called on my Birthday) I knew that it had something to do with golf. Sam was the best golfer I ever played with. He is the only person I played with to shoot under par without cheating. I miss his calls.
