Samuel Peter Bracchi Obituary
Sam moved back to Colorado Springs in 2007 and graduated from Rampart High School in 2014. Sam excelled as a student at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs majoring in Business Administration.
Sam was the consummate family man, greatly enjoying long walks and hiking with his family. He also loved reading, was a WWII buff, and an avid video gamer. He was always thinking of others before himself and always willing to lend a helping hand. Sam was so loved by his family and friends and left us way too soon; he will be greatly missed.
Sam is survived by his parents, Michael and Colleen, his brother Anthony and sister-in-law Emma, his grandparents Dr. and Mrs. George Dasher, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded by his grandparents Joseph and Patricia Bracchi.
A celebration of Sam's life will take place at the Bracchi's home (drop-in open house) from noon to 6pm on Sunday, October 18 at 9035 Tuscany Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80920.
In lieu of flowers, the Bracchi family is requesting donations be made in honor of Sam to Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention, 704 North Tejon Street Colorado Springs, CO 80903. You can also donate using Paypal at their website: www.pikespeaksuicideprevention.org

Sam, words cannot express the pain and sorrow our family is experiencing everyday since your loss. As your father I couldn't be more proud of you as a son. I will always feel responsible for not providing you the help and support you desperately needed to get through this life but I have trust in the Lord that all your troubles and anxieties no longer exist. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I worked with Sam at the UCCS Bookstore, and enjoyed when I was able to catch up with him when we had downtime. He was such a kind, hard-working individual. He will be greatly missed.
