Samuel Sanchez Obituary
Samuel entered the Taos, New Mexico military and served in the Korean War. He also served in the Army Reserve. Corporal Samuel Nemecio Sanchez, ER 54-075-747 Artillery, USAR, Ready Reserve. Receiving a Korean Service Medal, UN Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal, transferred to Army Reserve.
He joined in holy matrimony on June 27, 1957 to the late Martha Beatrice Vigil.
Samuel was the father of two daughters, the late Prescilla Estella Sanchez and survived by Pearl Lillian Sanchez-Etchieson.
He was a loving grandfather to Orlando Neil Ortega and Joseph Evan Ortega, great-grandfather to Elijah Orlando Ortega.
Samuel remarried on December 12, 2002 to Teresa.
Samuel will be missed by his family and friends.

Rosary will be held Friday, June 16th at 9:00am with
Services to follow at 9:30 am

Interment at Evergreen Cemetery Friday, June 16th at 11:00am.

Dearest Pearl I send you love and hugs, I know you miss your dad lots, I miss my brother too I was blessed to spend the last years in this world with him, we got to know each other like never before. He would always say, I never thought you would be the one here to take care of me. I was blessed to be the one. Be strong in The Lord dear neice this seperation is only temporary. Jesus loves you.

Dear Pearl,
