Anita and Family,it's hard to believe what has happened. It hurts; We know, and just know that you all have our support and Love.

I was so sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I have so many memories that go beyond the time we spent at work … poker nights, shop projects or the occasional times we would stop for a beer after work. I was truly fortunate to have such a man as a co-worker, mentor and friend. Please accept my deepest sympathy. My thoughts are with you all.

Aunt Anita, Chris, Lindsey and families- We are so deeply saddend by the loss of Uncle Sam. So many,many memories at the cabin, dirt bikes, and hanging out (pizza/movie night). You are all in our thought and prayers.

Sam...you were the best friend a person could ever ask for. I loved your wit and humor. You have left a hole in everyone's heart that was lucky enough to know you.

Dear Anita and family I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember Sam as a guy with a funny personality. It was always good to see him when he came into the dental office. Hold on to your friends during this difficult time. You and your family are in my prayers.

I will never forget Sam. His sense of humor still makes me smile when I recall his wonderful wit. He was a good friend -- the type of friend who you could really talk to about anything. His passing does leave a hole in my heart, but I am glad that I got to be a part of Sam's life and he a part of mine. I will remember those good times as they will always be with us.

Sam and 3 other young men became "brothers" to my three sisters and me when we were all stationed at Hahn Air Force in West Germany in 1966. I was 5 years old then and he was the kindest, most patient "brother" a girl could ever have. We have treasured the memories we shared over the years and know that Sam will always be with us. I will greatly miss my brother-of-the-heart.

To my brother Sam, you were more than my brother you were my friend and I will miss you more than I can ever say. I love you Jim
