Sandra (Williams) Anderson was born in Ashmore, Illinois, February 23, 1934.
Sandra attended High School in Casey, Illinois where she excelled in studies, cheerleading, and dance. She later taught ballroom dancing in Terre Haute, Indiana and was tap dancing in to her 80's with the West Brook Village Desert Dancers. Sandra was completely immersed in her children's and grandchildren's lives while they were growing up supporting them in activities such as music, sports and scouting. One of her favorite things to do was to share an evening meal with friends and family and learning about all aspects of their lives. Sandra was committed to her church in both Peoria, AZ and the Community Center Chapel on the Air Force Academy where she worshipped and praised our Lord Jesus.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Patty and son-in-law Don Moore of Colorado Springs; son David and daughter-in-law Linda also of Colorado Springs, and her son Daniel of Phoenix, Arizona. Her greatest prides in life are her grandsons Dustin, Brandon, and Michael, her granddaughter Kayla, and her great grandson, Taylor. She is survived by her brothers, Chuck and Rick Williams. Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her father Charles Williams and mother Helen Williams, and her brother Lynn Williams.
A Memorial Service is scheduled at 9:00 AM, Friday, March 31, 2023 USAFA Community Chapel, 5134 Cathedral Dr., USAF Academy, Colorado, 80840. A reception will follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 13990 Gleneagle Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80921.
