On June 4, 2014 Sandie passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ after a long illness.
Born in Newport, R. I., she spent her youth in Manchester, N. H. She graduated from St. Joseph H. S. and Notre Dame College.
She married her love, Jim Leary in 1965, and moved to California where he was an Oakland police officer.
Sandie was employed by Kaiser Hospital as a lab scientist for 35 years.
Sandie and Jim have three daughters Erin, Shannon, and Megan, two adopted sons Vince and Bennie and nine grandchildren. Sandie was at peace with meeting her Heavenly Father and being reunited with her mother, Margaret and granddaughter Kelly.

Jim, we were so shocked to be told of the home going of Sandy that was posted in the obituary. We have many wonderful memories of Sandy. Her love for the Lord, her family, & friends. Just know that we will be praying for you and your family.
