Since I moved to the state of Washington, I have missed being in the handbell choir & choir with Sandy. We had lots of fun getting ready for the Handbell Festival. I really miss her and her telling us to smile!

God Grant Rest Eternal. The Lord has called home a faithful servant. Her impact on my daughters life (not just musically) at Immanuel Lutheran, will never be forgotten. I pray for peace and comfort for all who are grieving her loss.

Sandy had a huge impact on me as a young person just getting used to my adult life. I was privileged to accompany for the Jubilate Choir for 6 years and also ring with the handbell choir. Sandy was such a positive, kind, and enthusiastic person, as a Christian and also as a musician. I am sad that over the years distance and time made it increasingly difficult to keep in contact. My one comfort is that in Heaven we will all be united with Jesus and other friends and family members who have gone before. Thank you Sandy for all of your love and music.

I am saddened by this news but cling to the promise of our resurrected Lord that we will make music with Sandy again in the hereafter. It was a privilege to have rung handbells under her direction. My condolences to her family and friends in COS and elsewhere.

I had the pleasure of being in choir and handbells with Sandy. What a special lady. I can always remember her smile she would give us at the end of a song cheering us on when we did good and maybe that "well you tried" look when things didn't go so well. Wonderful lady. She will be missed.

Cliff, I am so sad to hear about Sandy. Barbie finds things on Facebook...Even though it's been several years, I still enjoy remembering the day I spent with you two--reminiscing about our fun years on Timber Beach, San Antonio. I have a picture of us! Those were such wonderful times in a very special neighborhood!
I treasure the friendship we shared--dawdling over coffee and biscuits at Denny's after sending Donna and Chris off to school, digging up our yards and building fences, the wonderful extended visits by your parents and Sandy's mom, organizing Halloween wienie roasts and driveway picnics for the whole street, your family working to establish a new church in Leon Valley, volunteering to help our kids in school, mourning the loss of your AF pilot friend (Malcom?}who had spent months of TDY in your spare room, celebrating Sandy's birthday at New Year's and trying to pretend it's cold enough in Texas to have a fire in the fireplace, laughing at the antics of Gloria & Jack's Puka as he hauled logs around the neighborhood, the excited joy of Dennis & Anne's Hydro--and our old Rover, as he guarded the street till the kids came home. The ordinary days of our young family years...memories, memories. A million more have been made in Colorado Springs and I know your neighbors, friends, and colleagues will treasure them as I still do mine. Sandy came into my life when I needed a good and trusted friend, and although I will miss her now, I feel so blessed to have known her at all. It was cosmic that we eventually met--she was confirmed by a gifted Pastor Rutrough, and decades later, in Ocean Springs, MS, he was a favorite, inspirational leader of a little church I found by chance. I'm thinking of you and Donna--and Little Miss Madie, whom I know Sandy adored....Love, Donna Ramsay

Dear Cliff, Donna, and Madie,

Truly only the Lord knows how many lives Sandy touched. She touched mine by being my choir director, my friend, my Sister in Christ.
And only He knows how much she will be missed...and by how many. Thank you for sharing her with us. I promise you that she will never be forgotten.
I remember how often she used to look to the Lord before she directed us in singing an anthem. She would raise her eyes to Him, as if to say, "this is for you, Lord."
Sandy sees Jesus face to face now. How thankful I am and how blessed I will always be because I was privileged to know Sandy.
With sincere sympathy and love to you all,
Sue Schulz. Jubilate Choir

Sandy was a very special person to our family. We enjoyed being a part of the music program at Immanuel in handbells, choir, and brass groups. Sandy had a profound impact on the lives of our children and they loved her dearly. May God bless your family at this time. Sandy was a daily reflection of God's love and we rejoice in her eternal peace in Heaven.

As a former classmate of Sandy's, from South HS in Knoxville, it saddens me to know that another one of the class of 64' has gone. Now the angels have a new choir member. It was a great pleasure knowing you.

I was so struck by the news of Sandy's passing. She was and always will be one of my most favorite choral directors. Singing with the choir at Immanuel was always a high priority for me and one I miss terribly. Planning and preparing the annual Christmas Choral service and the Easter Sunday services was a joy, a privilege, and an honor that is missed. Sandy's leadership and musical talent and passion made those events truly worship as her music was always a way to praise God and to use her talents to His glory. Sandy, you are sorely missed.

God Bless all of you during this difficult time. Sandy(Mrs. Wright) was a wonderful teacher that made a huge impact on my son, Cameron Radice, during his 9 years at Immanuel. He always knew that she was proud of him and loved him. She may have never known, but her influence on him during his elementary and middle school years through musicals, school programs, and talent shows, paved his way to Hollywood! That is more than just a special gift! Her love for Cameron and all children will carry on for many, many years.

Cliff, Donna, and Maddie my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. Sandy was just a joy to spend time with and I loved her smile! My son enjoyed her as his music teacher and she always encouraged the preschoolers to sing with a grateful heart. We will be missed by several people. Thank you for sharing her with us at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School. Renee Williams

Cliff and Donna, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. Sandy was such an inspiration to so many children at Immanuel. Our girls loved her and the memories she gave them through all the musicals, handbell concerts and choir performances. She was also an encourager and creative spirit to us on the staff. She will be greatly missed.
