Sara Stoen, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on December 11th. Sara was born and raised in Denver, graduated from CU Boulder, and spent many summers at her two favorite places, Grand Lake and Maui. She loved travel and animals, as evidenced by her careers. Sara was known for her fierce loyalty and quick sense of humor. She was a big sports fan, especially cheering on her grandkids.
She is survived by her partner of 39 years, Eric Palmblad (Mason and Kellie), her son Eric Stoen (wife Missy and kids Evie, Henry and Sadie), her daughter Erin Day (kids Preston and Pierce) and her brother Mickey Ginsberg (wife Jessica). Her grandkids were her pride and joy, and they all miss their Grammy.
