Scott R. Gardner, a resident of Canon City, CO, passed away in Denver, CO on July 31, 2022. He was born on June 9, 1952, in Colorado Springs, CO to Jack and Vera Marie (Williams) Gardner. Scott loved cars, old and new, motorcycles, Nascar, boating, and his dog, Lenny. He was a hard worker, always working on projects around the house. Scott retired from Safelite Auto Glass after 30 years. Scott loved his family, especially his grandson, Kaden. He and Kaden went everywhere together. Scott will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Beth Gardner; his daughter, Kendra (Kyle) Sparks; grandson, Kaden Sparks; and brother, Jim Gardner. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Lakeside Cemetery: 1008 Elm Avenue, Canon City, CO 81212. Arrangements were entrusted to Holt Family Funeral Home with online condolences at www.holtfamilyfuneralhomes.com.

Terribly sad news! Scott was my brother in law and good friend for years. We worked together and had good times together away from work. Thoughts and prayers to his family and brother Jim. Godspeed Scott!
