Seth Patrick Mullins

Seth Patrick Mullins passed away in Colorado Springs on the twelfth of January 2018 at the age of 55.
Seth is survived by his grandmother, Dorothy Hayden Mullins; father, Patrick Dennis Mullins; and mother, Shirley Gregson Mullins of Colorado Springs, CO; along with his two sisters, Valerie Sutherlin (Ralph) of Boise, ID, Veronica Everett (Karl) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his two brothers, Joseph Mullins (Jennifer) of Arvada, CO and Vernon Mullins (Tamara) of Boise, ID.
Seth was born on August 23, 1962 in Gallop, New Mexico to Patrick and Shirley Mullins. He graduated from Alexander M. Patch High School, at HQ USECOM in Stuttgart, Germany in 1980. He served as an Elder for the LDS Church in the Fresno California mission in 1983. After his return he joined the United States Air Force in 1986 where he served as an Aircraft Electrical Systems Specialist, earning a double rank promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant and assisted his unit in achieving the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.
Seth was a kind loving free-spirit whose humor touched all. His passions were the Colorado mountains, aviation, fast cars, family and friends, and his beloved dogs Akita and Apache. He was a true artisan of many materials and art forms, and he will be remembered and loved by all who knew him.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00am on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located on 1705 N. Murray Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80915. A viewing will be available at 9:00am. Bishop Steve Cox will officiate the ceremony. Immediately following the service the funeral procession will commence to Evergreen Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Seth's life.

Denny & Shirley, this is Scott Jamison, I was saddened to hear Seth had passed away. I recently drove past Shirley's Fathers Home near Trolley Square in SLC and thought of playing golf with him and then I started thinking about Seth, and the fun times we had driving to school in his Jeep and being all around teenagers. I always look back on that time fondly and also having Your family and Seth next door to my Grand parents made it feel like we were family . Knowing the plan of salvation helps us at times like this and knowing we are only separated for a brief time.
