I worked for Sy through AT&T and Amdocs years and was sorry to hear about his passing. Sy showed me ways that a manager could work with people to allow them to put "family first".

Sy was one of the very best managers I worked for in my long tenure at the Phone Co. He was patient, understanding, encouraging, set challenging but realistic expectations, and gave you a chance to succeed. On top of that, he was just a really good person to be around. I will always value the time I spent on his team. My condolences on your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about Sy. He was one of my favorite folks at the phone company. Always had a good laugh with him. Miss you, bud.
