Linda and I were shocked and saddened by the news of Shanna’s passing. We remember all the years we watched the Aerial team girls advance from the lower levels to Level 10, the instate and out-of-state meets, the camaraderie of the girls, the laughing, cheering and crying. It has been many years since Shanna and our Ally were teammates and although life took Ally and Shanna on different paths, we won’t forget the very special friendship that Ally and Shanna shared. Sometimes life is not fair and this happens to be one of those times. We sincerely wish to express our condolences to Belinda and Larry and Shanna’s brothers.

I had the priviledge of knowing Shanna for pretty much all of our gymnastic careers. Over the last few days there have been so many memories that have come to mind that it's hard to know where to begin....I will never forget her smile or her infectious laugh that once she got started you couldn't help but join in, jumping on the trampoline, the sleep overs, making up dance routines and of course those many days in the gym. Shanna you will be greatly missed but never forgotten!! My thoughts and prayers are with your parents and brothers as well as your husband and 2 boys.

May you always be in harmony with the beauty and wonders of God’s world, and may His peace surround you. God is our refuge and strength… Psalm 46:1 Thoughts of deep and sincere sympathy are with you at this time ~ You'll never be forgotten Always- Eliza Lebron

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today Shanna. Words can not even begin to explain the wonderful and beautiful person you were inside and out. I will always cherish the memories we shared growing up, everything from watching you do flips on the playgrounds of Penrose to all the many many sleep-overs we had between my house, yours, Jennifer's and Page's. Anyone and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing you is truly blessed and will always remember you for touching their hearts....

Love Always- Adrian Delgado and The Delgado & Escobar Family

I had the privilege of knowing Shanna when we were growing up doing gymnastics together and I will always remember her spunky attitude and wonderful smile. She brought an energy and joy every day to the gym. And I can only imagine as she grew up and became a wife and mother that she spread that same joy and wonderful attitude to her little boys and everyone she met. My deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers pour out to the entire Hairhoger family, Shanna's husband, and her two little boys. I pray that God will wrap his arms around you all and hold you tight. Shanna you will be deeply missed.
Love,
Lisa (Krempley) Sprenger

My best friend and now my angel. You knew how to light up a room with your beautiful smile. The last 17 years of our lives were the best we were inseparable. There will not be one day that passes that I will not think of you. Thanks you for always being there for me. I will never have a friend that knew exactly how and when to cheer me up and comfort me the way you did. We were always laughing and doing silly things together. I will never forget you. You will always be in my heart. Your boys will know exactly what a proud, beautiful mommy and wife you were. We will meet again one day and it will be like we never left each others side. I miss you so much. This is not goodbye. Love you my homie!!

If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again. ~ Author Unknown

Well Shanna, now that we're home, we have a long road ahead. Like I told you before, you don't have to worry about anything. Your family and friends are here for you like you always were for us. With a little of your guidance, everything will be ok. Please keep playing the song for us. And remember, you were always an angel, we just never saw your wings. Shanna, we see them now. No goodbyes, I love you. Jake Witter.

There are so many great memories I have with Shanna and in each of them I can still picture her smile and hear her laugh! We were together at the gym almost every night during the week and then at each others houses every weekend for a few years straight it seemed, pretty much attached at the hip! She always made me laugh and was the most fun person to be around! We loved to dance and pretend we were "Salt & Peppa" back then, jump on the trampoline and just be silly together. My love and prayers go out to her family and her two baby boys. Shanna, I will always rememeber your contagious joy and enthusiasm for everything in life. You will be deeply missed!
Love,

Shanna, No words can describe the loss this world has taken. From the first day we met we were inseparable, but only life and love has moved us apart. I can remember some of the most wonderful times of my life being with you. From the first experiences together and many laughs to follow. Your beautiful smile, eyes, and spirit will always be missed. Our hearts go out to Shanna's family, spouse and children during this time. As the days go by, you will walk with us and reflect upon us. I will always miss you. Can't wait to see you in our next lifetime.

I had the honor of knowing Shanna since 7th grade. It wasn't untill the last 5 years that I really got to know her and what a beautiful spirit she had. She had this angelic ability to light up the world with her beautiful smile and laughter. She was an amazing mom who loved her two boys and couldn't have been more proud of her wonderfully devoted husband. May her time spent with us teach us to laugh and love as she did

I'm so sad to hear about the loss of one of my best childhood friends. We rode our bikes to each other's house almost everyday, jumped on the trampoline, carpooled to gymnastics, took road trips together across Colorado and to New Mexico and Texas to compete, celebrated birthday parties, played with your puppy Gizmo... so many memories. Such a sad loss of a wonderful person. Love and prayers go out to the Hairhoger family and to all friends and family that had the pleasure of knowing Shanna.
