Sharon DeReus passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of love, laughter and hugs. She spent her early and young adult life in Ohio and Indiana, before moving to Colorado Springs in the 1980's. Although she suffered personal losses and serious health issues, she was amazingly resilient and strong for all her family.
Sharon was always up for anything – dancing, playing with dogs, baking, singing, carnival and balloon rides, sewing, helping at her church, gardening, reading, sudoku, and anything to do with family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Terry; daughter - Shelley (Ken); stepsons - Dana (Margaret) and Chris; grandchildren-Taylor (Tommaso) and Colin; sisters- Patricia (Lorry), Barbara (John), Susan (Mark); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her young daughter, Tamra.
