Sharon Steen Obituary

Sharon Steen soared into the open arms of her Lord Jesus Christ whom she loved passionately and served faithfully. She was surrounded by her husband, Chuck, four daughters, three sons-in-law, and six grandchildren aged 2 months to 11 years. In Sharon's final hours, each expressed deep gratitude for her tireless love and generosity.

Sharon is also survived by a sister (Davenport, IA), two brothers (Provo, UT and Minneapolis, MN), and their families.

Sharon was born and raised in Minneapolis. She graduated college in Chicago, became a bank teller, and later met Chuck in Colorado Springs at a conference. They raised their family in several cities including Seoul, South Korea where their youngest was born.

When they returned to Colorado in 2007 to join Resource Exchange International, Inc., Sharon provided hospitality to doctors participating in professional development initiatives both domestically and abroad. She was a consummate green thumb, loved rousing games of Scrabble, and adored her husband of more than forty-four years.

There will be a celebration of her life and legacy on February 28, 2015 at Village Seven Presbyterian Church, 4055 Nonchalant Circle South, Colorado Springs 80917 at 2:00 PM.
