Shawn Owen Obituary

Shawn Winfred Owen, age 65 of Monument, Colorado, passed away Wed., Aug. 5th, 2015, after a long courageous battle with liver disease. Shawn served his country in the United Air Force as an Electronic Computer System Specialist. He furthered his career as a successful Engineer working for Lockheed Martin for over 35 yrs.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather and friend. Shawn always enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, whether it was playing baseball or softball growing up or climbing mountains, snow skiing or traveling with his life-long love, Linda Owen.

Preceded in death by his parents Carl and Opal Owen.

Survived by loving wife of 38 yrs, Linda Owen; son and daughter-in-law, John and Joy Williams; daughter, Leah Williams Foster; grandchildren, Steven Orth, Kenneth Williams, Johnathan and Meaghan Williams, Hunter Foster, and Mekenna Foster; great grandchild, Tyler Orth; sisters, Janet Carbone, Rosemary Owen; sister and brother-in-law, Pamela & Chris Keenan; uncle, John Bogard; father-in-law, Cleo Blakemore; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation by Neptune Society. A "Celebration of Shawn's Life" was held on Aug. 8th at the loving home of Shawn and Linda Owen.
