Sheila Ann Strauch, 84, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away July 26, 2024 in Colorado Springs. She was born May 7, 1940 to Al and Addie Belleau in Hays, Kansas. While attending St. Mary's High School, Sheila met the love of her life, Bob Strauch. They married August 2, 1958, and went on to have four children. Once her children got older, Sheila went to work at Floor Craft supporting Bob at his family's flooring store. Sheila was an astute businesswoman who helped build a successful business that still exists today.
Outside of work, Sheila was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She and Bob were also very involved in Marriage Encounter. Her passion was golf which she was able to play year-round at her homes in Colorado and Arizona. Sheila also enjoyed riding bikes and playing bridge.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents, Al and Addie; and sister, Ida Leiker.
She is survived by her brother, Roger Belleau; sister, Cindy Coker; children Larry Strauch (Debbie), Debi Haring (Scott), Mark Strauch (Kristine), Chris Strauch (Becky); 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Sheila was fun-loving and generous to others. Her zest for life and radiant smile will be greatly missed. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Legend Senior Living for their great care of Sheila in her final years.
