I was never fortunate enough to know Shelley, however, know the Atencio children from being a teacher at Oak Creek Elem. My heart and prayers go out to Alexis, Savannah, and Marcus. Life is much too short. May Shelley watch over her dear children and help them find comfort in her memory.

It's very difficult when a family member is lost, but in our case another sibling lost so young. We will do our best to look after your children. Goodbye baby sister, love you always and forever! It seems not to long a go that Dereck and I were staying in Colorado Spgs with Robert and Phyllis. I remember when Dereck and Shelly were throwing rocks at the bee hives in the back yard. My prayers are with you and I am so sorry for the loss of another family member.
