It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Shiloh, a bright and beloved 13-year-old girl, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at Children's Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. Shiloh was born on October 9, 2011, to Ashea Pistol and stepfather Jeremiah Pistol.
Shiloh was a loving, compassionate, adventurous girl with a heart full of love. Some of her interests included Minions and her baby dolls. She had a deep love for animals, especially the donkeys. She loved playing outside with her little brother, Yoni Vanderlaan, here in Cripple Creek, Colorado, taking her baby dolls for walks, and hide-and-seek – "COME FIND ME!" was her favorite activity. Her personality and smile lit up every room, no matter where she was.
Shiloh attended Cedaredge Middle School, where she excelled in her daily challenges and education, along with forming lifelong friendships. She was a dedicated student, loving sister, and the best daughter anyone could ask for.
Shiloh is survived by her loving parents, Ashea and Jeremiah Pistol, her younger brother Yoni Vanderlaan, and her extended family and many friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Donations may be sent to the family at the Rocky Mountain Chapel location; please state this in your donation that this is for Shiloh.
A celebration of Shiloh's life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Rocky Mountain Chapel, 4240 County Rd 1, Cripple Creek, CO 80813.
