SHIRLEE DAWN (BROOKS) FERRERO

Shirlee Dawn Ferrero (Brooks) passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2018. She was born in Granite City, Illinois on October 19, 1937. Shirlee was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Irene Brooks, husband, Arnold Fererro and by her beloved son, David Scott Ferrero. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Ferrero of Colorado Springs, Valerie (Steven) Berger of Maryland, and son, Clay (Deanna) of Texas.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Arlene (Don) Waldo and their children, Tanaya (Charles) Roe and Aaron Waldo of Denver along with her grandchildren: Brianna Ferrero, Juliana (Jonathan) Mann, Amanda (Joshua) Feist, Stephanie (Sara) Berger, Cassie Taylor, Cory Taylor and Ben Taylor.
She loved her family and had a life-long love of animals.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:30 on Thursday, August 30th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Colorado Springs.
Casket Burial will follow at Crystal Valley Cemetery in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
