Shirley Lee Marion, 85, passed away on November 9, 2018. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 55 years.
Shirley was born on September 4, 1933 to Wendell Eugene Stall and Irene Loucresha (Catlin) Stall in Lincoln, Nebraska. On November 1, 1950, she married Raymond William Marion in Ancon Canal Zone, Panama.
Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling the world with her husband. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children: Debra Perkins (Tom) of Colorado Springs, Jacqueline Bonino (Tony) of Lumberton, New Jersey, Kevin Marion (Debbie) of Colorado Springs, and David Marion (Rosemary) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; her siblings: Michael Stall, Mary Klemmer, and Vickey Sylvester; her grandchildren: Anthony Bonino, Mark Perkins (Sarah), Michelle George (Kevin), Jack Perkins (Eirian), Leslie Perkins, Robert Marion, Jonathan Marion, Katherine Marion, and Daniel Marion; and her great grandchildren: Cora Perkins, Michael George, and Jason Perkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond William Marion.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 17, 2018 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard. A reception will follow at Sonterra Grill Loft, 28B, S. Tejon Street.
