Shirley Noblitt Obituary

Shirley A. Noblitt, age 71, of Colorado Springs passed away October 13, 2006. She was born September 18, 1935 in Bird Island, Minnesota to John A. and Inga (Johnson) Halloran. She lived in Colorado Springs for seven years and was formerly of Northglenn, Colorado. Shirley married James W. Noblitt on June 17, 1955 in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by three sons, Kevin, Chris (and wife Amanda), and Mike (and wife Andi) Noblitt; four daughters, Kim (and husband Mark) Swanson, Sue (and husband Mark) Mutch, Dee Dee (and husband Chuck) Jameson, and Deb (and husband Jim) Welte; two sisters, Patricia Noblitt and Lorraine Yee; two brothers, Douglas Holloran and Norbert Holloran; 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the Shrine of Remembrance. Memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Suite 600, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
