Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, Nov. 11, 2024 at Minnis Chapel, St. John, KS. Burial will be 3:00 PM, Mountain Time on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO. Memorials may be given to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church-Kinsley, KS., in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS 67576.

I grew up down the street from the Straight family, Judy was my friend and Jerry was my brothers friend, Ms. Straight was always kind to me. My parents were divorced and my mom worked so Ms. Straight would invite my brother and I to have a ride to school with her on the cold snowy days. I was always grateful that she did that. She was a kind lady. Hope the Straight children are well and hello to my old friend Judy.
