Shirley Wimbley Obituary

Shirley was born October 28, 1934 in Indiana, to Willis & Effie Hardiman. The family moved to Colorado in 1967. She was a graduate of St. May's as a registered nurse. She worked as a registered nurse from the time of her graduation until she retired from civil service. She loved living in the beautiful, picturesque mountain covered Colorado. She also loved to travel both here and abroad. She has traveled most of the United States and Hawaii, Europe and Mexico. Her most loved means of transportation was by water. If possible when traveling she preferred to travel by cruise liner. Growing up as children when we would take summer vacations, we always traveled with our own trailer. In our earlier years, we spent many weekends and holidays camping with most loved family and friends in the mountains of West Cliff Colorado. And her most favorite of all was spending the holidays with family and friends. Shirley is survived by her brother Urval Hardiman and sister Wandola Hardiman Wooden, three sons, a daughter and five grand children. Dennis Hardiman, Michael Wimbley, Doug Wimbley, Carmen Wimbley; daughter in-law, Carla Wimbley three nieces, Erin Hardiman, Ashley Perry, Aleassa WImbley; three nephews Nicholas Perry, Adrian Perry, Holden Grove; spouses, cousins, extended family and good friends. Shirley is preceded in death by husband, Calvin Wimbley and son David Wimbley.
