Sonja Le Fevre Obituary

September 26, 1934 - May 15, 2008 Sonja Munson Le Fevre, loving wife of Ralph Le Fevre sadly passed away May 15, 2008 at the young age of 73. Born to Mildred and Arthur Iverson in Stevens Point Wisconsin, she spent most of her life in Colorado Springs. She studied at the University of Wisconsin, and went on to receive her degree later in life at Pike's Peak Community College. In addition, she owned a professional organizing business, and was involved in many volunteer organizations including Score, Pillar and Hospice while being a loving mother to her three children. Sonja suffered with lupus and was active in the Lupus Colorado Springs Support Group. Her last few months were spent with her family by her side. Sonja is survived by her husband, Ralph Le Fevre, and three adoring daughters, Karen Woodall of Colorado Springs, Kirsten Williams and Erica Rieber, both of Sedalia, Colorado. She has six beautiful grandchildren, 3 boys and 3 girls. In addition, she is survived by her beloved brother Mark Iverson, her sister Mary Mc Connell and her Mother Mildred Iverson. She walked the path of Jesus every moment of her life, and celebrated him with Ralph at the First Presbyterian Church and at the Broadmoor Community Church. It was her FAITH, FAMILY AND FRIENDS that brought her joy each and every day of her precious life. She is a bright light that will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., 1730 E. Dear
Karen, Kirsten, and Erica,
My father shared the sad news that you had lost your mother. I still remember the day when our families first met, back in the 1960's, soon after you all arrived in Germany for your Dad's new assignment with the Army Medical Corps. From the beginning, I was in awe of your mother's beauty
and her warmth. May your own fond memories of her help to ease your loss.
