Sophia was a friend of mine when we were younger and i didnt find out about this until it was to late, i go and look at her picture every day, it still jus seems so unreal, we hadnt hung out sence we were younger but i feel had i known i was never gonna be able to spend anytime wit her, i would have held her more close, we would have played, laughed and loved harder! but one thing i can say is she made me appreciate life awhole lot more, i have a 1 year old son and for the simple fact that you never know when your gonna go, i hold him tight, love hard and spend every moment with him as if it were our last! i love you sophia , you are forever in my heart!

SOPHIA WAS MY LITTLE COUSIN. WHEN WE WERE YOUNGER WE DID EVERYTHING TOGETHER. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT I DONT THINK THERE EVER WAS A TIME WHEN SHE HAD A FROWN ON HER FACE. SHE WAS ALWAYS SO HAPPY AND FILLED WITH LIFE. EVERYTHING IS STILL SO UNREAL TO ME. IT FEELS LIKE A VERY BAD DREAM AND I CANT SEEM TO WAKE UP. I CANT IMAGINE LIVING WITHOUT HER HERE. SHE WAS A VERY ESSENTIAL PART OF MY LIFE.I WISH I HAD MORE TIME...I MISS HER VERY MUCH.....

July 11, 2009

Hi Fred & Sheri,
I only met Sophia a few times while she was with my niece Tanisha. She was a very nice young lady. I remember my daughter doing her hair when her and Tanisha was going to their first dance at Mesa Ridge. I know what it is like to lose a child and I wish that pain on no one. I pray for you both and may God be with you and your family.

Hi Fred & Sheri,
Know that our prayers are with you and all the family during this time and always. Though I have not been home for some time just the thought of Sophia brought joy to my heart, her smile had a way of doing just that. I pray you stay strong in your faith, find rest in each others arms and the peace from God to carry on in the days and weeks to come. John 14:27

You were the one to make everyone smile and laugh. You were the person who had bring out the good in everyone. You made everyday of your life worth living for. You were always a call away when I needed someone to talk too. It’s so hard with out you here Sophia. I know you made it to heaven. The memories we shared together will stay in my heart forever. I will never forget all the good times we had; singing together when we were little on the karaoke machine, going to Skate City and the mall together, you two stepping with my mom! I remember we would take a million pictures together to get one "good" one, playing bumper cars on the slide in elementary school, hide and seek, and tag.. You never missed one of my birthday parties since we've met! My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Sophia you will be missed, I love you! BFF!

Fred and Sheri, I am so absolutely sorry that you have to suffer through this again. Sophia was a wonderful person and a joy to know. I enjoyed talking to her about kids and college and everything in between. Like the poem I printed for you from her myspace page said, "Everything happens for a reason", perhaps one day we will understand the reason that she was taken from us so soon. Sophia,
You were one of the greatest people to be around with and always made me laugh. The times we spent together are unforgettable, I don't see how this world is going to be without u here. I remember everytime you would come over we would only have roman noodles and hot dogs to eat, we always made fun of it. The times we would only have eachother to turn to when nobody else was there with us. Its hard to believe that were not going to share anymore of those memories anymore.. The bonds we had were and will always be unbreakable between us because your still my best friend. Now it seems like everything I do reminds me of us, acting stupid together, crying together, and getting into stupid arguements that we would get over so quickly. I love you Sophia and nobody knows how much I miss you. But I know one day we will see eachother again and you will be there waiting.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
