Sorry I missed the celebration of Stan's life. I was in Nebraska at the time. I am so sorry you lost your husband at such a young age. He was a GOOD man.

LT., you had a huge influence on me with the Crisis Intervention (CIT) Team. You helped me so much with planning and coordinating when I first became a trainer for CIT. You were a true leader and an inspiration. Thank you for the time and energy you put into the work you did. You were passionate about law enforcement and you helped others develop their passion for the job. I respected you so much and I will miss you very much.

Chief Presley, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your loss is Heaven's gain. Lt. Presley was a great man that influenced so many people in the law enforcement realm. His life is a testament to true dedication and loyalty to the LE community. God bless you all and although you feel his loss, please know there are so many people who are better off for having known Lt. Presley. I pray for healing for you all.

Dear Presley Family,

Deepest sympathy to each of you upon such a tragic loss. May you find comfort in knowing that your husband, father and friend was and is a well-loved giant of a man. Lt. Presley taught the IA unit of my Citizens' Academy. Never forgotten and sadly missed. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with him both as a civilian and Deputy and he was always there for support and always willing to help his shift out. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to meet Lt. Presley and work with him. He will be greatly missed. I know he is in a better place and will be watching over us from above. Thank you Lt. Stan, one of the good ones who never forgot where he came from. A man who stood up for what he believed in and led by example. A huge loss to the EPSO and extended LE family. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. May God bless those left behind and give them strength to press on as Stan would.

I am a better man and a better officer for having known Stan. I am grateful for his patience and his willingness to help. I recall that he was so often out in the field taking calls when we were short. He was a truly dedicated professional who will be sorely missed. Thanks to all of you who have expressed your love for Stan and support for me and our family. He was an amazing man who was dedicated to his family and the law enforcement profession. I am very sad with the passing of a dear friend and former Texas Peace Officer. Stan will always be remembered as a man of true dedication to law enforcement and fairness to all he encountered. I will miss him greatly. I pray for his eternal peace and comfort in the hands of our Lord.

I had the priviledge to work under Lt Presley with the Language Services. As an interpreter we met on a monthly basis. The small group of interpreters had the unique opportunity to interact closely with Lt Presley and his wife Paula. What a great human being he was. I consider his passing a great loss to El Paso County and Colorado Springs. I will like to express my deepest sympathy to Paula and his family. May you find comfort in knowing that he cared about everything and did not hesitate to express his love and devotion for his family. He wanted to keep El Paso County safe. May our Lord Jesus cover his family with peace.

I met Stan two years ago when I joined the Sheriffs office as a CP.Nights when I got in off Patrol I would stop in to say hi and that developed into a conversation that would last who knows how long.The thing is that he is a truly interesting person and I shall miss the talks we would share.You and yours are in our prayers .Phil Nagle
