Stanley, 75, passed away from a heart attack after living with heart disease and COPD for over twenty years. Stan was born in Scotia, California and raised in the surrounding area. He enlisted into the U.S. military where he served 25 years, earned a Purple Heart and retired a Master Sargeant from the U.S. Army. Stan enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His favorite past time was to ride his bike out to the Manitou Towhouse Sports Bar & Grill where all affectionately called him Motorcycle Stan. Stan is survived by his brother Tom; 3 children, Don, Rob and Mandy, grandchildren Neve, Lucas and Jordyn, and great grandchildren Rosaleigh and Neyteri. He is preceeded in death by his wife of 27 years, Rosa, siblings Don, Chris, Nancy, Randy, Fred, Kathy, and Jimmy, mother Bertha Moore and father and step father Edward Culbert and Emery Moore. Stan will be greatly missed and his memory forever cherished by all who knew him. The family will be having a Celebration of Life at the Townhouse on March 15th at 4pm and is asking for donations to The Wounded Warrior Project, Warrior Dog Foundation or charity of choice in lieu of flowers.

The Buckley SFB military Retiree Activities Office (RAO) would like to offer our sincere condolences and our gratitude for MSG CulbertĀ“s 25 years of distinguished service to our country in the Army. If you would like help with any matters related to casualty assistance, Defense Finance & Accounting Service, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), Veterans Affairs (VA), etc. you can contact our office on Buckley SFB at 720-847-6693 or [email protected]. The RAO is staffed by volunteers, all military retirees themselves, and our sole purpose is to provide assistance to any military retirees and surviving spouses/family members with anything related to their military service and/or benefits, in particular during difficult times such as this. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
