Stanley Flaks Obituary

Stan Flaks, a true and loyal friend and boss to my father and family. A great man. For many of us, his passing signaled the end of an era. I think about Stan a lot. My father always looked forward to phone calls and lunches shared together.

We LOVED Stan for his gentility, generosity, spirit, honor, and for his interest in so many activities. But his true value was his humility and devotion to his precious family, and dear friends, of which we were for over 50 years.

Rick and Greg -- I always loved when your dad stopped in the office to visit his buddy Norm Coleman. The two of them would always tell the best jokes. I will always remember him and wish you both God's blessings in the days to come.

Dear Greg, Les, Rick and Mindy,
My mom Ruth and I send our love. Ruth and Stan were closer than most first cousins as both were only children.I have found several wonderful photos (probably from before 1920)of the two of them as kids which I hope to share with you soon. Love, Sue in Denver

Stan was always a gentleman and it was a pleasure to be with he and Reggie. We enjoyed our relationship with all his family and they have our sincere sympathy.

My heart is truly broken and sad for you all. Mr Flaks taught me SO much in life that has carried with me. His phone calls - just to chat and catch up
The memories I have of his humor (How do it know!) To this day I say that alot and don't even remember the exact joke anymore but when we were together and he would say it with that gleam/twinkle in his eye - just brings a big smile to my heart.
He will be missed greatly.

Stan was always a part of my life as Pete, my Dad, worked happily for him for years and years. Pete is gone and now Stan too.....the era of great men has ended. He will be remembered.
