I worked with Stephanie for a year at CSU. I was going through a lot and she was always a kind and caring soul that made me feel better. I am so completely sorry for your loss. I am sending you love and support.

Steve, Carl, Laine and Alison, my heart aches for your loss of your beloved Stephanie. It has been many years since we have seen each other but thanks to you, Laine, we have kept up through Christmas cards and letters. I was so happy she obtained her PhD. I prayed for her through her cancer battle. I remember the times we were together at Aunt Edith's home in Paola. We were all kids then but they were fun times. My love to all of you and may dear Stephanie rest in peace.

May God ease your suffering during this troublesome time. I can still see Stephanie smashing that forehand cross-court. Too bad I never got to see her shoot. She excelled in whatever she chose to do. Stephanie will be missed!

What an ambitious, joyful, and loving life Stephanie lived. Her legacy lives on in all who knew her and even those who only knew of her. Her life had a purpose; she knew what she wanted and went after it with vigor.
Though I only knew of Stephanie through her loving family in Colorado Springs, that smile is how I always thought of her. I send healing thoughts of compassion to her family, friends, colleagues, and students.
Love,
Jeannie
