Linda, Sorry for your loss. I worked with Steve on the CAP in the early 80's at Bouse Hills pumping plant. I'll tell one Steve story. We were playing pool in Sports Valley a pub and eating place on the Colorado River. We were on one table minding our own business. This guy on the next table wanted to play for money. I told him I'll play you, and beat you for the heck of it, but not for any money. I beat him, I would've never said that had Steve not been there. When we left Steve said, "I thought I was going to have to hurt that guy." Steve was a good man, we had some good snow ski trips. I wanted to tell that story at the wedding, but it's a lot harder to do in public.

Dear Linda
May each new day begin with warm memories and end with peaceful moments.
I am so glad that you and Steve were with me here with our family and that when the end came we could continue to show you our love and support. And glad we had the first mass for Steve in my own church St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Now again sending you our deepest sympathy and healing wishes and lots of love.

We enjoyed the opportunity to work with Steve and of course the most important is that we called him our friend. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with his family. Respectfully, Sue and Phil W. Haubert
