Stephen Michael Kennedy

Stephen Michael Kennedy, 66, passed away on September 19, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bonnie Lewellen Kennedy of Fountain, Colorado; his mother, Ruth Kennedy of Redmond, Oregon; one sister, Terisa Clawson (Terry); brothers, Jeff (Soni) and Larry; a son, Steve Rosenstiel (Jenny); a daughter, Tallie Belitz (Ryan); four grandchildren: Drew Burleigh, Quinn Burleigh, Trace Belitz and Aarick Rosenstiel; and good friend, Nicki DeGraw.
Steve was a disabled veteran from Viet Nam, a retired Corrections Officer, and a lifetime member of the DAV. Donations may be made to the Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906, who were wonderful in making him comfortable in his last days.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Shrine of Remembrance Veterans Honor Court, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.

So sorry I will never get to spend any time with Steve again, and my heart goes out to my adopted sister Bonnie. Her losses have been more than any one person should endure this year.
Rest in Peace my friend. So glad your pain is over.

To all of the Kennedy family, my prayers are with you all. I have the pleasure of working with Bonnie, who has had the toughest 18 months. She is a very strong woman and only my best wishes are for her. Steve will always be with you and now watching over you and your family. God will take over now, no more pain and he's smiling now!
