IN LOVING MEMORY OF STEPHEN H. "Steve" PUZICK
It is with deep sadness that the family of Stephen H. Puzick announces his death on November 28, 2025 of cardiac arrest. Steve was born September 16, 1942 at Glockner Hospital in Colorado Springs (now Penrose Hospital) to Betty and Eli Puzick. He grew up in the Old North End, and enjoyed telling stories of his adventures. Steve was retired from the Colorado Springs Police Department where he served from November 15, 1968 to January 2, 1992. Steve was proud of his time on the Police Department, and served honorably despite a terrible injustice he endured. His sense of humor and wit were his trademark.
Steve is preceded in death by his mother, father, sisters Janie and Debra. He is survived by his wife, Trude Davis, his brother Phil (life partner Marsha) and his brother Vince (wife Jannetta), his sons, Jim and Terry, as well as his loving daughters, Rebecque Laba (husband Rob) and Denise Gray (life partner Bob Boben). His many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per his request, there will be no services. Steve was cremated and he will rest in Evergreen Cemetery. Steve was a wonderful man and dearly loved. He will be missed greatly by his wife and family.
God saw that he was getting tired, so he put his arms around Steve and whispered "Come with me".
