Thank you all for your prayers. I wish you could have known my son. He was a beautiful person with a great sense of life and humor. Please write me to catch up, Debbi and Diana. I would love to know how you are. Debbi I heard you got married. Stevie had his profile on Facebook and I saw your 2 girl's profiles on there, Diana, they are beautiful and look so much like you both! (of course) Julie

I'm assuming that you are the Scottons I knew from King Elementary and Texas Instruments. My heart hurts for you and I will be praying for you. Julie, I believe that you volunteered in Terry's classroom when my daughter Breann was in her class. Our younger daughter, Alissa, passed away almost 2 years ago.

My prayers are with you at this frustrating, heart breaking time. My son Riley was 19 when he died almost a year ago. He too is a much loved hockey player. I saw they hung Stephen's jersey and it reminds me of how wonderful it is to have his team to keep you strong. Watching my son play hockey was my favorite thing in life. I still go to all the games, and though it'll never be the same, it makes me feel better to see his jersey hang from the rafters and know his friends cared so much about him. Riley played there, he reffed there, he grew up there. So it's comforting for me to be there. Let your son's team hold you up. They're so good at it. God be with you as He has been with me this year.
