Many of Steve's friends enjoyed his political tirades, opinions on society, and ever-ready humor. I was fortunate to get to know the depth of Steve's spirit in recent years as he struggled with his illness. His heart was ready to love the world, and his motivation to mentor young people was sincere. Steve Sena was a true character, and those who knew him will miss his unique way of seeing the world.

I had known Stephen for about 8 years. He was quite the character-he always said what he meant and meant what he said. He will be missed by many. RIP Steve!

Steve was quite a wonder character and I am so very lucky to have had him touch my life. I know he is somewhere taking a beautiful photo of paradise and wishing we were all there to share it with him. I love you hope we meet again.

Dear Sena Children, I have been a long time friend of your Dad's, meeting him originally thru my parents. I moved out of state, 2 years ago and I am just moving back, what a shock this is to me. I hadn't even called him yet, to tell him I was back in town. He was such a great guy and we have shared alot of laughs over our 30+ year span of friendship. He had a great laugh :) and he would always ask me how my parents were doing, and say "Be sure to tell them "Hi" from me" Although I have never met any of you, I have heard about all of you from your Dad. I am so sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers are with each of you, and your families. I hope time will ease the pain and you will have your memories to hold onto forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with Stephen's family. I have been a friend for many, many years and learned the softer side of Stephen. He was truly a gentle man under his rough surface. My thoughts are also with Autumn - I know she will be loved by someone - such a wonderful companion! Bless his soul!
