Steve was truly one of the most gifted and talented stylists that I have ever worked with. He was an inspiration to many who were associated with him and was always willing to help and share his knowledge and expertise. We will miss his great sense of humor and zest for life. May he find rest and comfort in the hands of God.

I just wanted to say you will never be forgotten. Your forever in my thoughts and prayers. Your loss has touched my heart in a way I cannot express. These unfortunate tragedies have made me realize not to take life for granted, life is too short. You have to enjoy life and share love with the people that are very special to you because you never know what can happen. I know precious angels like you two are resting, and I must say in a WAY better place then here I'm sure! I know you are there for everyone that feels the pain of you being gone. Sleep with the angels and may god bless you and your family... you will be in my thoughts and prayers always~

To the family of Steve,
We are so sorry and shocked to hear of Steve's death. We followed Steve when he moved to different salons while he lived in Colorado Springs and he became a friend of our family. Steve talked about you so often and how the illness of your mother affected him. The last few years of living here Steve coped with many difficulties and we encouraged him to keep the faith. Unfortunately we had little contact since he moved back to Ft. Collins except for the occasional update from Greg Chavez. We would love to hear from someone in the family about Steve.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
