I'm sending my prayers to the family. Watched him for years.

He was the prince of my early childhood after watching Cinderella when I was 8 years old. One of my dearest memories.

Stuart was a beautiful man inside and out a beautiful singer and ball room dancer and actor his eyes his eye's were captavating your heart would melt looking at him.May you rest in peace Stuart. God bless you for i know your in Heaven.

I never forgot watching Stuart Damon in Cinderella in 1965 and often recalling him singing the song 10 Minutes Ago. Then watching him for years on General Hospital.

Just watched Cinderella again. No crazy special effects, just talented artist. This movie was very special too me in my childhood, and is still my favorite version of Cinderella. I hope you and your family know how much Stuart touched people's lives. May this bring some comfort to your family. A voice that will live on forever. May God bless your family.

What a wonderful voice he had. I watched him every year in Cinderella as a kid. Yes the show would only come on once a year!
I just found it today on prime video and purchased it. I haven´t seen it since I was a kid, I am now 64
He is ever as much enchanting as he was when I was a child.
RIP Stuart you passed on my birthday and in the same year I lost my husband who was only 61.

I have to say absolutely love stewart! He won my heart and the Rodgers and Hammerstein`s musical Cinderella. He was so handsome and he could dance and he could sing. He was perfect. I want his family to know he will always be in my heart.

Stuart Damon will forever be the epitome of Prince Charming.

I first met Stuart in 1965 when he came to England to play in "Charlie Girl" with Joe Brown, Anna Neagle and Hy Hazell. I was Stuart's dresser but he always treated me as a friend. He was one of the kindest, most generous, considerate and thoroughly decent people I have ever met, not to mention one of the most talented. He made such an outstanding impression during rehearsals that an extra number was written for him.

On the strength of his performance in "Charlie Girl", Harold Fielding cast him as Harry Houdini in the musical "Man of Magic", and gave him star billing. I went to Manchester, where it opened, again as his dresser, and stayed with the production when it transferred to the Piccadilly Theatre in London. In my opinion, the show deserved to run longer than it did.

Stuart and I stayed in touch for several years afterwards but lost contact when he returned to the States. I have nothing but warm and affectionate memories of Stuart, both on and off stage. He was a lovely guy!

Watching you again in Cinderella. So handsome also loved you in General Hospital. And a few of your movies. You are missed and I thank you for all ya did

Stuart Damon was a very talented actor and his talents will truly be missed by myself and so many others. I've been a fan of his since about 1979 when I started watching "General Hospital" during junior high school on which he starred as Dr. Alan Quartermaine, and later discovered him in re-runs of a British program called "The Champions" where he portrayed the part of Craig Sterling. I am sad to learn of his passing; however, I am also glad that he no longer has to suffer. Thank you, Mr. Damon, for sharing your gifts and talents with the world and for touching the hearts of so many people over the years. You will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace.

Just looked him up on Google tonight after watching Rogers & Hammerstein´s Cinderella. Fell in love with that prince then and all over again watching it tonight. So sorry for your loss and any suffering he may have endured.

My condolences to the Damon family! I loved Stuart Damon as Cinderella's handsome Prince, many decades ago. Many years later, I watched him play Alan Quartermaine in General Hospital. I had always hoped to see him perform in another musical movie. His singing voice was beautiful. I am sure that you are singing in the Heavens, Prince Stuart of Damon.

Sorry for your loss Mr Damon was one of my favorite actors on GH. I watch the soap since I was a young teen. He inspired a lot of teens to become doctors

I first saw and fell in love with Stuart as a young girl watching him as Prince Charming in Cinderella with Lesley Ann Warren. My daughter and I watched together and we both loved him as Alan on General Hospital. He was such a positive and wonderful part of so many lives and he will be eternally loved and remembered. I'm 54 years old and started watching General Hospital in the second grade to impress a girl I had a crush on. I'm proud to say I have only missed a handful of episodes over the past four decades. Your father has made me laugh to tears and cry to same said tears. You should be so proud of him for giving his all to his craft. I cried when I learned of his passing as I am now. He will always hold a special place in my heart for forty years of fond memories he gave to me. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. I would loved to have met the man behind Alan so much.

He was the world's prince in the 60's and later on, he was the best Doctor General Hospital ever had. I had a lifelong crush on him. And what a beautiful singing voice. I will miss him always.

I first saw Stuart when i was 14, ie the Champions. I loved him so much and was a person i wanted to meet. The dream came true in 1975 he sang to me and i spent some time with him after the show. I called my son after him. I have found it hard reading all the articles re his death he is a sad loss to all who loved him. Stuart was a lovely christian man My God bless as go are now with him, will miss you xxx an english fan

I loved Stuart Damon from the moment I saw him in Cinderella, and he was the best part of General Hospital. Although I have a few other favorite characters, it was never the same without him. To his loved ones - I am so very sorry for your loss. I just watched him in Cinderella again, yesterday, and just heard today of his passing. He touched my heart. The most perfect Prince Charming! My condolences to Stuart’s family. I grew up watching him on General hospital. I remember him in the Cinderella movie and thought he was so handsome, loved him in that role.

I will always think of him as Prince Charming, even though I watched him more as Alan. I loved him! His sense of humor was quick witted when I saw him on talk shows and for some reason, I have some silly memory of him and Richard Simmons. I am grateful that he made my daily life much more interesting. I saw him Monday through Friday for a long time so I feel like he was a friend. God bless his family. RIP Stuart. Wow this comes with great sadness, I remember when I would come home from elementary school my mom would be watching General Hospital and as I became an adult I started and before I knew it I was in in love with General Hospital and it’s actors. Saying so long to Alan is really hard you become emotionally involved like their a part of your family. Blessings and love to the GH family and of course his natural family.

I met Stuart threee times in 1974 accompanying on store openings and sharing dinner and pleasantries with him. He was a lovely man and Ivstill have photographs taken with him . I am so sorry to read of his passing.

Mr Damon had a fantastic career in acting. To his family hold on to that beautiful career and fond memories. What would we be without the God given gift of memory. To the family I offer my condolences.

I watch general hospital when Monica and Allan was always fighting in the late1970s and the we're one of my favorite couple and Stuart Damon will truly be missed may he rest in heaven sending my condolences to his family and friends a true pioneer

He was my first crush As Craig sterling in the champions I had just watched a rerun as I always do when they rerun, at the end they announced his death. I was heartbroken and in shock. I am still crying now he was such a lovely man my thoughts are with his family x

I am so very sorry to hear about Stuart. I watched General Hospital in its glory days. I was 13 when I started watching GH in 1980. I had a big crush on him. (I think a lot of us did) He was so handsome, and massively talented. His loss really hurts my heart. Rest In Peace, Stuart.

The first time I saw Stuart Damon was in his portrayal of the prince in "Cinderella" with Leslie Ann Warren. My sisters and I looked forward to watching it every year as children.
I started watching "General Hospital" for almost as long as it's been on. I was sad to see "Alan" go. He was a wonderful actor and was missed then and will be missed now. God bless and give you strength

To Stuart Damon's family: Like others who have written, I first saw him in "Cinderella," when I was just a child, and I always thought he was the best prince cast in any production. Although this one TV show isn't a measure of his true talent, even when I watched it again you could see he (and the whole cast) took their roles seriously even though their target audience was young. I think that is why he left such as lasting impression! I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that so many people appreciated his talent and hard work. Peace to you all at this difficult time.
