Susan Dango Obituary

Susan Kay Dango left this world peacefully for another on September 29, 2006. She is survived by two sons, David and Michael, and husband Paul, whom she celebrated their 25th anniversary with earlier this year. Born into a small Ohio town in 1955, Susan went on to a life of health service: first as a nurse in Washington, DC, then as a health screener and elder home caretaker in Colorado Springs. Her small town roots encouraged family and religion as top priorities, and she is remembered for involvement in her church and her children's school and for cultivating lasting relationships. Susan was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who especially enjoyed gardening, painting, decorating, and cooking. Her great faith in God's grace, words of encouragement, and vision of possibilities gave confidence, strength, hope, comfort, and joy to those she touched. Susan's goodness, optimism, laughter, and perpetual smile will be forever remembered and cherished.

I am a high school classmate of Susan's from that very small town of Fredericktown, Ohio. Susan was one of my very good friends and I remember only good things about Susan. I had spoken to her only a few times since then, but I am sure she was that same fun and optimistic girl. I pray for her families in Ohio and Colorado.
