I truly miss my best friend

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear. We share your grief.

Our prayers are with you as you pass through this grieving process of your lives. To every life there is an end. We are sadden that Suzette's end came early. But know that God had and has Suzette in His hands.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

The family of Suzette Schexnayder
you're in my thoughts and prayers. Remember weeping endureth for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Just continue to hold to God's unchanging hand, and Get closer to one another.

The Suzette's Family and Especially the children:
May the grace and peace of God continue to strengthen you during this time. In 1972, we met Sue through Elmo. She was always so nice to our family. We have such special memories of her, especially her last visit with us. Know that she touched lives in very nice, kind, and special ways. We know that she is having a nice time with the Lord; so may you be strengthened by the memories and special times you spent with her.

To Suzette's Family:
I met Sue in 1972 when we first entered Southern University. Since that time, she and I remained friends. She even came to our family the day of my father's funeral in 2005. She indeed was a very good person and friend. She will be missed. My prayers are with you. Be comforted knowing that Sue is resting in the arms of the Lord. She is experiencing such peace and happiness now. To her children, may you continue to live through the love and memories or your mother.

To the Schexnayder Family:
I was saddned to hear about the loss of your dear loved one Suzette. Know that God can do anything EXCEPT FAIL and he makes no mistakes. May the loving and precious memories of your loved one linger on forever in your heart. Memories are the legacy of love. You are in my prayers.

God is with you throughout this most difficult time. Look to Him for strength, and the ability to turn to His side and give Suzette any messages or notes that for you may have for her. She is comfortably there with Him, God bless all of you.

To JB, Dolores, and Family:

God sees and he knows just how much you can bear.Look to him for comfort because he can heal your sorrow and he can heal your pain. Suzette is in a place where she no longer has to suffer and have joy in knowing that will you see her again. We love you!

From our Family to yours there is no sorrow on earth that God Can't heal. Look to God for he himslef has said "I will never Leave you nor forsake you". Keep your eyes on the Lord for he is your pain reliever. You all will be in our hearts and prayers today, tomorrow and always.

Love and prayers are extended to you at this time. Sister Suzette was a dear member to us at North Blvd. Macedonia Church. She was a soldier of the faith and she held to her faith--even unto the end. She fought a good fight and she finished her course. Be encouraged and know that she is now resting from her labor and reaping her reward with God the Father. Be strong in the Lord and look to the hills for your help is coming from the Lord.
