Sylvia Hutson Obituary
She is survived by her parents Norman and Cecilia Hutson, siblings Norma, James, and Larry, as well as sister-in-law, Barbara Phelps-Hutson, nieces and nephews Elisheba and Mark Fay, and Garrett and Brandy Hutson.
Sylvia graduated from Mitchell High School in 1977 and Friends Bible College in 1983. She worked in local arts administration with the Colorado Springs Symphony, the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale, the Colorado Springs Chamber Orchestra, Opera Theater of the Rockies, and as the general manager and a singing member of the Colorado Springs Chorale. She attended Mesa Hills Bible Church for 30 years, serving invaluably there. She will be sorely missed by her entire family, church family and the arts community of Colorado Springs.
A memorial service will be held at Shove Chapel, July 29th 2017, at 11 A.M.
Friends of Sylvia are invited to contribute to the GO FUND ME account set up to defray non-covered medical expenses.
