Resident of Sacramento, formerly of Pleasant Hill
When someone thinks of courage, images of a soldier entering battle, a policeman patrolling his beat, or a fireman rushing into a fire come to mind. Hero's all, but no less Tami, our wife, mother, sister, aunt who fought her war against cancer with the same courage and resolve. Alas, while winning the war, she left the battlefield mortally wounded.
Predeceased by parents Donald & Nancy Swan & brother Terry. Survived by husband Brian, sons Joel and Eddie, brother Tim (Patti), nieces & nephews & many, many dear friends & extended family.
A celebration of her life will be April 12 at St. Anselm's Episcopal Church in Lafayette at 2pm. Interment Lafayette Cemetery. Donations in her memory to Lilliput Children's Services www.lilliput.org 916-567-4472

Tami touched the hearts of our family with her caring and loving ways whilst being involved with the cub scouts; then we discovered common links and a new friendship...sad that you had to leave us so early, yet to a peaceful place...we will always think of you with smiles and hugs....

To a beautiful soul and spirit. My heart and loving thoughts go out to Brian, Joel, Eddie and all the other fortunate sous that had the opportunity to experience and share life with such a beautiful person. We love you, Tami.
