Tammy will always be my role model. Her compassion knew no bounds and I appreciate all that she did for me, my dad, and entire farmily. <3

Tammy, another beautiful soul I loved joined you in heaven recently. There is something especially painful about losing those whose light shines so brightly on Earth. I think of you often, and I continue to pray for your family. Every February, the Valentine photos of your precious pups are featured on my dog wall of pictures. I won´t forget your impact on my life and on the school systems, teachers and students, we served. Your life truly mattered for so many.

She was my daughter's teacher, and she was one of the best teachers I have ever come across. She had a real love for teaching, and it showed. She was the sweetest woman, always smiling and always had nice words to say to everyone. We are truly saddened by her passing, and I hope she knew how much her students loved her.

Last month was my 23rd birthday so I sat down and reflected on the year and what I wanted to focus on in the coming year. I wrote down 5 role models I wanted to emulate in my life and Tammy Clementi was top on the list. Her constant emulation of love and compassion is unmatched by any other human I've met. Truly an angel on Earth.

She dated my father (Tom O'Neill) maybe 6ish years ago. My siblings and I immediately fell in love with Tammy. She essentially adopted us as her own. She developed such solid connections with each of us. In addition, she took care of our family and helped my dad to become such a better father. Whenever he would drive recklessly she would remind him that he had "precious cargo" in the car. And whenever we'd park, she'd try to find a spot next to a median because it "reduces door dings by 50%!" We consider her a massive reason that our family members' behaviors improved over time. She was such a good role model.

We loved her deeply and continued to hang out with her even after my dad messed up their relationship (so unfair - she deserves only the best relationships in her life!).

She sparked so many passions for me: education, prison reform, and weightlifting. She would be so proud to see my sister's back muscles today - she's yolked!

It's so frustrating to see someone who has done so much for this world have a life cut short. However, she had more postive impact on the world in 60 years than most people would have in 1,000 years. Sending her endless love from down here.

Love you and miss you. Love, Caitlin

Tammy was our son, Corey Dale´s 4 and 5 grade teacher. She was so amazing and he loved school because of her. I have to share the day he came home and begged us to get a dog. She would have her students for group dinners one on one dinners etc. You name it she did it and was there for every student. With that being said Corey would be around all of her children (her dogs). We went and bought a Beagle and named her "Byrd" oh I´ll never forget the day he brought her in for sharing. Thanks, Ms. Clementi for showing us as parents on how important it was for our kids to grow up with a dog. I even have to say that a group of her students and parents were at the "Teachers Crystal Apple Award" She won the award hands down.
Forever in our hearts

I met Tammy as a little girl and thought "I want to be Tammy when I grow up." That only intensified as we both aged. What a light. She certainly left this world a better place. I'll miss her advice, her laugh, and love of dogs. I look forward to the day I'll hug her again. Sending so much love to her family and friends. Forever in our hearts, Tammy. Thank you for bringing us all so much joy.

The first time I met Tammy, I knew she was special. There was not one time I spent with her in person, on the phone, or via text when she didn´t just radiate love and positive support for me, even when she was going through tough things herself. She sent me encouraging cards "just because" and taught me so much about how to be a better human. I know that she adored her family, and I´m so sorry for the pain all of you are feeling in this loss of your precious soul. You will always be with me, Tammy, in my work and in my interactions with others. I truly loved you, and I´ll continue to work in your name and with the light you shared with me and brought to so many, especially our youth.

Our sincere condolences and heartfelt prayers to the Clementi family. Being one of Tom´s best friends growing up I saw the love that emanated from the Clementi family. In high school Tammy treated everyone she met with kindness and respect, so valued (and unusual) in adolescence. What a beautiful person, life and legacy.

I was always in awe of Tammy´s insights in education. She created many useful resources for teachers in her career. She truly understood the science and heart of teaching.
I spent many hours in meetings with Tammy, and thinking of her makes me smile. Quick witted, down to earth, funny and her laugh- not sure which to comment on most!

I think of you often Tammy, and I´m sorry if these last few months were difficult.
You impacted so many people in your life. Thank you for allowing me to be one of them.
My sadness is with your family.

Tammy was my son's 4th and 5th grade teacher. Her students loved her and she took pride in raising the reading level of the entire class. Literacy was one of her passions. She taught me that almost 75% of those incarcerated are illiterate! We have lost a lovely person in Tammy's passing.

To everyone who loved Tammy. She was so lovely, lively, and sweet. Her kind heart was priceless. She was intelligent and beautiful all wrapped up in one amazing person. This world needs more of people like Tammy. The love she had for her nieces and nephews stands out in all the photos of Tammy. She always made the time to be there for people and she was so loved and she is so very missed by so many. These pics are how I remember my sweet, smart, loving, and kind cousin. Her enthusiasm for life shows in all all her pics. Her love will continue to shine in the lives of those that knew and loved her so very deepy

The first time I met Tammy was at one of our Literacy Resource Teacher (LRT) teacher meetings in D11. How could somebody not love her enthusiasm, passion, unbridled energy toward helping students learn and teachers grow. She was a force in the world of education! May she rest in peace.

I met Tammy when I first began teaching in District 11. She was energetic and vivacious. She loved every member of her 4th grade class and fiercely advocated for her fellow teachers. She was also an amazing lover of dogs, especially the pack she had at home. While time and career paths changed, her passion for kids, family and furry ones never shifted. The world of education has lost a champion. My you rest in peace, Tammy.

Several years go at an educational conference Tammy had breakfast with my daughter and I. Afterwards while we were leaving the restaurant Senator John Kerry and his wife walked in front of us. Tammy in her true self and outgoing way walked right up to Senator Kerry, introduced herself and ask him to take a picture with her. He was very kind and did as she requested with a big smile on her face she carried that experience throughout the time we were in San Francisco. No one was a stranger to Tammy and she could easily share her passion for her family, friends and in her work everyday of her life.
She spoke often of her family and how much she loved them as well as her dogs. She made great spaghetti and valued learning. I will miss a very good friend, but know she gave much to our world through her work as a passionate educator.
