Terrance Gradler Obituary
Terrance J. "Terry" Gradler, age 67, of Harborcreek Township, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at UPMC-Montifiore Hospital, in Pittsburgh. He was born September 19, 1946 in Erie, a son of the late Benjamin F. and Eileen Anderson Gradler.
Terry was a graduate of Harbor Creek High School. He was employed for many years as a carpenter, primarily in the home construction business. He had also previously worked with his father at the former Gradler's Auto Body, in Wesleyville. He was an avid hunter, and also enjoyed gardening, re-building cars and trucks, camping, and woodworking. Terry especially enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren, who were the loves of his life.
He was preceded in death by a very close cousin, Don Gradler, and two brothers-in-law, Robert DiNicola and Arnie Hall.
Survivors include his two sons, Chris Gradler (Sherrie) and their children, Emma and Terrance "T.J." (Terry's beloved grandchildren), and Scott Gradler; his former spouse, Patricia Gradler; four sisters, Marlene Hartstein (Chuck), Nancy Ostrowski (Bob), Sharon DiNicola and Cathy Hall; four brothers: Thomas (his twin brother), Michael, Daniel (Mark Mitchell) and Benjamin (Sally) Gradler; one uncle, Gerald Gradler. Terry is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and are invited to attend the Funeral Service there on Saturday at 10 a.m. Private interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John Kanzius Cancer Research, 130 W. Eighth St., Erie, PA 16501, or to Hunt of a Lifetime, 6297 Buffalo Rd., Erie, PA 16421.

Scott, Chris Sherrie Pat and extended family.
I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. He was a great person with a big heart......he passed that along to his sons. I have so many fond memories of him, his red truck (his prized possession) baking apple crisp for him (he loved that stuff). He was always so happy and had a great laugh. May he rest in peace and as time passes you find peace as well. Take care! Miss you all :)

My wife and I grew up with most of the Harbor Creek High School Gradler family. So very sorry to hear about Terry, and our prays go out to the all the family in grief at this time. May God Bless everyone, and our condolences to the Gradler family.

My sincere sympathy to the Gradler family. Terry was my buddie going back to the time his father had the garage in Wesleyville. My brother and I had many good times at the Gradler house. We were always welcome and whoever we brought along was welcome too. Terry had a great sense of humor, was a very generous person and had a kind heart. He will be missed.
