Terrell Wise Obituary
A lifetime resident of Colorado Springs. Terrell was born to Christine Bertrand and Everett Wise. Terrell graduated from Widefield High School in 2004. He loved to laugh, play video games, cook and hang out with his family and friends. Ill since early childhood Terrell persevered through the trials of diabetes, asthma, partial loss of his sight, amputation, pancreas transplant and he endured years of dialysis.
He was a fighter and never gave up.
Terrell would like to thank his mother Christine for the lifetime of selfless devotion she has shown him. He truly appreciated the countless hours of love and support she gave him and often reflected on her selflessness.
He is survived by his mother Christine Bertrand and sister Tabitha Bertrand, both of Colorado Springs; father, Everett (Kitty) Wise and sister Taylor Wise of Grants, NM; sisters, Felicia (Dustin) Maxey and Caitlin Wise of Logansport, LA; grandmother Nancy Lowery, grandfather Jerry Beard and one uncle all of Baton Rouge, LA; and eight aunts of Lafayette, LA.
He is also survived by: grandmother Joanie Teakell, grandfather Wesley (Virginia) Whitley, aunt Lori (Monte) Golditch, aunt Jaime (Jon) Dilks; cousins, Crystal, Eric, Ashlee, Adam, Sariah, Rebecca, and Isaac; and many friends all of Colorado Springs.
Keeping with Terrell's wishes his earthly body has been donated for medical research. His Spirit is now with his God in Heaven.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs.

Terrell will be deeply missed. I'm sorry for everyone's loss. Terrell was an amazing person with the most colorful of personalities. I had kept up with Joe Russell on all of his medical stuff. I feel horrible. God bless you and your family Christine and Tabitha.

TK will be deeply missed by family& random strangers alike! Often on a bad day,he'd turn right around and ask about a strangers day& ultimately wished them a good day! I believe he made this world a brighter place by the upbeat attitude he exuded. He was certainly a positive example for me & I hope to continue where he left off every chance I get... It's the very least I can do to keep his beautiful spirit Alive!! Rest peacefully kiddo!! We'll love you always!

Christine and Chuck, as well as the rest of the family. We are so sorry for the loss of Terrell. He and I had gotten to where we had been texting and chatting on facebook over the past year and I felt we were bonding. It really saddened my heart when I heard my nephew was gone but I am so thankful for the times we did get to talk. His life was short but he is no longer suffering and with his Father in heaven. We love you Terrell and you are forever in our hearts.

Tabitha and family,
