Terry Sawyer passed away after a valiant fight with cancer. Born and raised in Junction City(Ft. Riley) Kansas to Ernest Gale and Marie(Boe) Sawyer, he came to Colorado as a young man . Here he met wife Susan(Nance), recently celebrating 40 years of marriage. Building bridges in Kansas started his career in the concrete trade and he put those skills to use at Transit Mix, where he worked until cancer forced his retirement. Above all though, was his devotion to his family. Sadly he was preceded in death by son Joshua who died of cancer (age 39) on 1/17/2022. Surviving are wife Susan(Nance), daughter in law Abigail, sister Cindy(Eric) and others.Terry was a large man with a large presence . His death leaves a huge void and he will be dearly missed. His ashes will be scattered at Milford Lake, Kansas as he requested.
