Terry Terrell Obituary

Terry W. Terrell, 90, died peacefully July 18, 2005 at his Sunrise Brighton Gardens Assisted Living residence in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born October 3, 1914 in Grainfield, KS to Jess E. and Mabel F. Terrell. Terry was a 32 degree mason, a very active member of the Al Kaly Shrine as a Past Potentate, past President of the Al Kaly Shrine Mule Train, and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters in Pueblo, CO. He worked as a traveling salesman in eight western states for 60 years until his retirement. His hobbies were fly fishing and golf. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, June. He is survived by his only daughter, Penny S. Hamilton (Harley) of Buena Vista, CO; and a sister, Lorene Brubaker of Fruita, CO; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, and nephews. His appreciation of family, neighborliness, friendships, and laughter endeared us all to him. He will be greatly missed. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services to be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Al Kaly Temple Patient Transportation Fund, Al Kaly Temple, P.O. Box 193, Pueblo, CO 81002. which helps maintain hospitals for burned and crippled children at no expense to their families. In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.
