Terumi "Tee" Okazaki passed away on December 31, 2014. He was born on August 6, 1927 in Oakland to Ichimaru Okazaki and Hamako (neé Maihara). Tee spent most of his childhood in Santa Maria, California. He was interned with his family during World War II. Following the war, he lived in Japan, where he worked for the United States Government as a personnel officer. After retirement, he moved to California to be closer to his family. He always enjoyed a round of golf or a quick trip to a casino. Tee is survived by his wife Yoko (neé Miyake); children Ted Okazaki (Linda) and Denis Okazaki (Denise); grandchildren Matthew, Samantha, Bryce, Mariko, and Carson Okazaki; sister Maru Hiratzka; brother Sid Okazaki (Yukie). Services to be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 5 at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel. Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to J-Sei or the Nichi Bei Foundation.
