What a sad day to learn that Chris had passed. I was a dedicated "performer" under her direction for many years at the First Lutheran Church Gallery of Living Art. She was a gallant and dedicated servant and leader. There was no messing around, even though we always had a rehersal gag to pull on her and she accepted it with grace but we all knew there was no messing around on the day of performance. We knew we better be on stage and in place. Behind the scenes, before the stage curtain opened, she was there checking us for being in the right position and then, at just the right moment, tell us "freeze" and we all followed her command. She dedicated her time and outstanding ability to further the message of Gospel and we were so fortunate to have her. She will be truly missed but I am pretty sure God has her directing the same performance from her reserved place in Heaven. We were blessed to have her among us.

Chris was like a grandma to me. I am so sad to hear she has passed. She always had a smile and a kiss for me. When my son was born she would always gush over him and love him with all she had! I will truly miss her and her smile and laugh! I love you Chris.

Hey Buddy - so sorry you've left us. And sorry there's no service - you've been such an important part of so many groups - Soli, Fort Carson, 1st Lutheran - but I bet you and Kate are busy organizing heaven into a great show! We'll see it when we get there. Love ya. Irv & Joyce

My memories of Chris was that she was a wonderful giving person who was always involved with the church, she was a great person, fisher woman and cat lover. She was filled with knowledge and loved crossword puzzles. Always enjoyed the Green Bay Packers football(and loved to wear her Green Bay Packers football garb) she was a delight to be around and loved being around her family. My prayers go out to her family and may she be be in peace with the lord, now that Heaven ad gained another Angel.
